Your perception of us and our service is important to us. We value all client feedback, whether through our client satisfaction survey, Google reviews or Review Solicitors, and are committed to using it to ensure our clients have the best possible experience.

In 2025, we received 343 client feedback forms and 171 Google reviews, and we’re proud to share some of our recent feedback here.

Overall satisfaction

In 2025:

  • 95% of clients were satisfied with the service they received from us
  • 95% said they would recommend us to a friend
  • Nine out of 10 clients gave their solicitor the very top satisfaction score available (eight or nine out of 10)

Considering our firm employs over 180 people across five offices, this feedback reflects brilliantly on the service and client care we provide.

Feedback on timescales, expertise and fees

As part of the feedback left in our client satisfaction survey, you also shared your views on specific elements of your matter or experience with us.

  • 95% were satisfied that we understood their needs
  • 93% said we met the expected timescales
  • 96% said our communication was clear
  • 95% were satisfied with our overall approach
  • 94% were happy with our fee estimates and the transparency of our costs

How we can improve

While the above figures are extremely positive, we recognise there are some areas for improvement.

Timescales

In some areas of law, it is not always possible to provide an exact timescale. For example, in medical negligence and personal injury cases, which involve input from external experts and the Defendant, and sometimes court proceedings. Timescales can also shift with Probate and estate administration, where delays with the probate registry can quickly change the pace.

Another common example is residential conveyancing. Although some clients have an idea of when they would like to complete on their purchase/sale, the transaction is dependent on cooperation from all parties in the chain. In these cases, we endeavour to communicate changes to timescales with you and will explain if something is beyond our control.

However, for more transactional matters, such as writing a Will or a contract of employment, we will ensure we provide estimated timescales and costs from the outset, and let you know if this changes.

Fee estimates

Although 94% of survey respondents said they were satisfied or extremely satisfied with our fee estimates, it is not always possible to provide an exact cost for some matters. For example, if what appears to be a straightforward settlement agreement (offered on a fixed-fee basis) leads to advice on unfair dismissal (which is paid on an hourly rate).

However, we have introduced internal processes to ensure clients are kept informed of any changes or expected increases to legal fees and are reviewing fixed-fee packages to ensure clients know what they are paying from the outset. This is particularly relevant for our Commercial Services division, with the launch of our Business Start-Up Kit.
