Barcan+Kirby maintains top-tier Legal 500 status and receives a new ranking of ‘Leading Associate’
We are delighted to have maintained our top-tier rankings in Legal 500, for the fourth year in a row.
The rankings, which were released on 2nd October, include a retained top-tier ranking for our proficiency in Clinical Negligence and tier 3 rankings for Personal Injury and Family.
Clinical Negligence Associate, Fiona Dabell, has received a new ranking of ‘Leading Associate.’ A brilliant new ranking that further showcases our talented team.
Clinical Negligence Partner, Richard Harries, has retained his recognition as a ‘Leading Partner’, as have Helen Franklin and Jay Nathwani with their ‘Next Generation Partner’ rankings. One testimonial for the team said: “This law firm is different and their Clinical Negligence team has been wonderful. The level of professionalism is beyond any law firm I have dealt with, their attention to detail, excellent communication, and above all their team’s ability to explain complex legal processes to a layman like me makes them stand out.”
Our Family team has maintained its tier 3 ranking position for Family Law. A well-deserved testimonial for the Family team said, ‘The Barcan+Kirby Family Team are a dedicated, experienced and caring cohort whose focus on providing good, pragmatic and helpful advice is consistent regardless of whether the client is private paying or publicly funded. The team collaborate and discusses cases at their weekly meetings, which means the client gets the benefit of not just one lawyer’s experience, but that of the whole team, providing a much wider pool of knowledge and experience.”
Our Personal Injury team has also kept its tier 3 ranking. A glowing testimonial for the department said: “A personal and local touch with very committed and diligent practitioners who are always willing to go the extra mile.” Our Contentious Trusts and Probate team, led by Senior Associate, Mark Scanlon, has been ranked as a ‘Firm to Watch’ for the second year running.
Managing Partner, Bill Willcocks, commented: “It’s fantastic to have maintained a top-tier ranking for the fourth consecutive year as well as upholding rankings for Personal Injury and Family. It is also fantastic to see that Fiona Dabell has been recognised as a ‘Leading Associate’ and the Contentious Trusts and Probate team has maintained their position as a ‘Firm to Watch’; a true testament to the commitment of our staff who are committed to providing exceptional client care.”
