Barcan+Kirby receives top rankings in Chambers and Partners UK 2023

We are pleased to announce that we have maintained top rankings for our Medical Negligence, Personal Injury and Family law expertise in the 2023 edition of The Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession (UK).

The rankings, which were released on 20th October, include a band 1 ranking for our expertise in Clinical Negligence, a band 3 ranking for Personal Injury, and a band 3 ranking for Family.

Richard Harries, Partner and Head of our Medical Negligence team, has once again received a band 1 ranking. Senior Associate, Jay Nathwani, has maintained a band 2 ranking and Partner, Claire Hurrell, achieved a band 3 ranking.

Our Personal Injury department has retained a band 3 ranking, with both Senior Associate, Myfanwy Buckeridge and Partner, Samantha Castle, maintaining band 3 rankings for their expertise.

Our Family department has also maintained a band 3 ranking, with individuals from the team acknowledged for their excellence. Partners Kirsten Hale and Hanni Pennelegion have both achieved a band 2 rankings and Gareth Hughes has been recognised as an ‘Associate to Watch’.
