Charmaine Moger
Charmaine is a Senior Associate in our Family Law department and heads up our Children Law team. She joined Barcan and Kirby in 2008 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010.
Charmaine has expertise in child law, domestic abuse, TOLATA and surrogacy.
Child law expertise
Charmaine has always specialised in children matters and spent the first eight years of her career representing parents, other family members, and children in care proceedings. She now specialises in private law disputes, representing parents and other family members in disputes surrounding contact, residence, removal from the jurisdiction, change of name, and schooling.
She carries out the majority of her own advocacy and has previously represented clients at fact-finding, contested, and final hearings.
Domestic abuse expertise
Charmaine also has a wealth of experience in issues that arise from domestic abuse and dealing with emergency applications such as Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders, and Prohibited Steps Orders.
