Charmaine Moger
Charmaine heads up our Children Law team. She has worked in family law for 16 years and started her career specialising in proceedings where there is local authority involvement (Public Law Proceedings).
Charmaine now specialises in disputes between parents and other relatives (Private Law Proceedings) on issues regarding residence and contact. Charmaine also regularly advises clients about which school a child should attend and what a child’s surname should be. She also provides advice on surrogacy.
Charmaine’s role involves advising, negotiating, and drafting applications and statements, as well as representing clients in court on a regular basis.
She also has a wealth of experience in dealing with emergency applications such as Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders, and remains a member of the Domestic Abuse team.
Charmaine is a member of Resolution and strongly believes in assisting and supporting clients to reach a settlement out of court, where possible.
She is cited as a ‘Key Lawyer’ in Legal 500 UK 2023.
