Charmaine Moger
Charmaine has worked in Family law since 2006, joining Barcan and Kirby in 2008 and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2010. She heads up our Children Law team and is a member of our specialist Domestic Abuse team.
Charmaine has always specialised in children matters and spent the first eight years of her career representing parents, other family members, and children in care proceedings. She now specialises in private law disputes, representing parents and other family members in disputes surrounding contact, residence, removal from the jurisdiction, change of name, and schooling. Charmaine carries out the majority of her own advocacy and has previously represented clients at fact-finding, contested, and final hearings.
She also has a wealth of experience in dealing with issues that arise from domestic abuse and dealing with emergency applications such as Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders, and Prohibited Steps Orders. Charmaine also provides advice on TOLATA and surrogacy.
Charmaine is a member of Resolution and is strongly committed to resolving disputes in a constructive and non-confrontational manner.
She is cited as a ‘Key Lawyer’ in Legal 500 UK 2023.
