A new lease of life for our Gloucester Road office
We ended 2019 with the relocation of our Horfield office further down the road to neighbouring suburb, Bishopston.
Having been a part of the BS7 community for over 40 years, it felt fitting to set up in the former Barclays Bank building and give it a revived purpose on the popular high street.
It’s not just our location that has had a refresh, however; we also have new team members and service offerings to shout about in this particular office.
In January 2020, we welcomed Associate Charmaine Moger back from maternity leave and with that, a change of scenery from her previous position in our Bedminster office. Charmaine has worked in Family law for 15 years, and prior to her leave, represented parents, children and other family members in proceedings where there was local authority involvement. She now specialises more in disputes between parents and other relatives regarding residence and contact (Private Law Proceedings), and her role involves advising, negotiating, drafting applications and statements, as well as representing parents, children and other relatives in court.
Also joining Barcan+Kirby’s Bishopston office is new recruit and Senior Associate, Helene Bryant, who brings with her 20 years’ experience in Wills, trusts and estate administration. Helene’s arrival not only brings a wealth of knowledge into our Private Client department, but strengthens the team’s presence in North Bristol.
As a firm, we’re looking forward to getting more involved with the Bishopston and Gloucester Road community, and getting to know fellow local businesses better.
