Training Contract FAQs

Our training contract application process opens on 19th November each year and closes on 28th February the following year.

Applicants must have either passed their LPC or are due to pass the LPC prior to the commencement of the training contract.

For example, if you are due to complete your LPC in June 2020, you will be eligible to apply for a training contract commencing in September 2020. If you are successful in obtaining a training contract commencing in September 2020, your offer of employment will be subject to the successful completion of your LPC.

In previous years we have taken on two trainees per year. Due to our commitment to people development, we are looking to increase this number to four trainees per year, as of September 2019.

Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications we receive, we do not provide feedback on an individual basis at the application stage.

We do, however, offer feedback to all candidates who have attended an interview and assessment centre, if requested.

The interview and assessment process consists of a pre-interview task that will be released usually one week before the interview and a 90-minute interview in which the candidate will be asked to present their pre-interview task, answer a set of standard questions and undertake a written assessment.

Our training contracts start at the beginning of September each year and candidates must be available for this date.

2019 training contracts will commence on Monday 2nd September.
