Barcan+Kirby is delighted to announce a number of senior internal appointments to Associate status.

Myfanwy Buckeridge and Adrian Stone have been promoted from Senior Solicitor to Associate, with both now taking a more active role within the firm’s management team. Their revised job titles of Associate & Manager (Personal & Medical Injuries Department) reflect their additional responsibilities.

Within the family law team, we are pleased to announce that Tom Powles, Alison Whiles and Clare Cox have been made Associates.

The family team has also been divided into two specialist departments.

Alison Whiles will jointly head up a new specialist private client team, advising on all aspects of divorce + separation and collaborative law, in conjunction with Chris Miller, Partner.

Tom Powles has been appointed head of our new specialist childcare and domestic violence team. He’ll be supported by a senior team that includes Associate Solicitors Kim Joseph and Clare Cox, and Julie Splaine, Legal Executive. This department will specialise in the representation of victims of domestic abuse, and children, parents or other relatives of children in childcare proceedings.
