Oliver Kent

Oli has worked in corporate law for several years. He joined Barcan and Kirby’s Corporate and Commercial team from a large corporate firm in 2024.

Oli specialises in private corporate transactions. He assists business owners and managers in completing the sale of their business, or the acquisition of another. Having previously worked at a firm that assisted smaller, owner-managed businesses, then a firm that often acted for private equity and larger corporate clients, Oli benefits from his understanding of key issues for either party in a transaction. This complements his offering to owner-managers: he can anticipate and advise on the other side’s approach, aiding an efficient conclusion of the deal, all while seeking to protect his client’s key interests.
