Warehouse Assistant – Kingswood
We have a vacancy for a Warehouse Assistant, based in Kingswood. You will join our Facilities team which comprises a Facilities Manager, Reception Manager and Senior Facilities Assistant, Facilities Assistant, Warehouse Co-ordinator, Maintenance Assistant and our Receptionists.
The role will involve assisting in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, management of our Wills and deeds retrievals and will be vital in the ongoing efforts to organise our onsite and offsite storage of files and destruction whilst we move towards becoming an entirely paperlight firm.
The role
Daily duties include:
- Management of the file storage system in conjunction with the Warehouse Co-ordinator.
- Destruction of files as directed.
- Recording and preparing closed files for archiving in accordance with the firm’s policy.
- Some manual work to include moving boxes and accessing files from a cherry picker.
- Organisation of the file storage areas as required.
- Greeting and recording visitors, staff and contractors on entry to the warehouse premises as required.
- Ensuring that the reception area, waiting area and meeting rooms are clean, tidy and presentable.
- Responding to telephone calls and emails as required.
- Cover for the retrieval process of files, Wills and deeds as required.
Training will be provided on all the tasks you will be expected to carry out.

Computer literacy is essential for this role.
Location and working hours
- 12-month contract.
- Full-time (8am – 4.15pm, Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch).
- The role is based at our Kingswood warehouse.
