Jeremy Fagan
Jeremy joined Barcan and Kirby in 2024. He has specialised in child protection law and care proceedings since before he qualified as a Solicitor in 2013.
Jeremy was previously employed in-house by a Local Authority legal department and has in-depth knowledge of the pre-proceedings process and care proceedings and can offer clear advice on whether processes are being implemented correctly.
Jeremy has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel since 2024. He acts for parents and other parties, and is frequently appointed to act for children in care proceedings either via their Children’s Guardian or directly.
Jeremy is experienced in complex matters involving allegations of inflicted injuries, sexual abuse, cases with an international element and adoption. Jeremy conducts his own advocacy wherever possible.
