Helen has worked in medical negligence for over a decade and specialises in cerebral palsy, erb’s palsy and amputation claims. She also has experience with cases involving compartment syndrome, delay in diagnosing fractures and/or nerve damage and cases that fall within the Fatal Accident Act.

Helen was listed in Legal 500 UK 2021 and 2022 as a ‘Rising Star’ and is recognised as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ in Legal 500 UK 2023, 2024 and 2025. She is ranked in Chambers and Partners UK 2025 as ‘Up and Coming’.

Helen is a member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme and is on AvMA’s specialist Clinical Negligence Panel. She was promoted from Senior Associate to Partner in April 2022.

  • Bar Vocational Course and was called to the Bar in 2007
  • Graduate Diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School
  • BA (Hons) in Modern and Contemporary History from the University of Ulster (including a placement year at the University of Waterloo, Canada)
