Firm ranked top in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession

The 2019 edition of The Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession has been published, and we’re proud to announce that we’ve been ranked in three areas of law – including a top ranking for our clinical negligence team.

Our clinical negligence team has been placed in the highest banding for Bristol and the surrounding areas, being described as an “outstanding Bristol-based practice with a solid reputation for its range of clinical negligence expertise.”

The team was credited for their commitment to “doing their best for their clients.” Richard Harries was described as having “very good tactical judgement”, while the “excellent” Richard Barcan was described as possessing a wealth of experience in clinical negligence claims.

Jay Nathwani was described as having “everything you would want or need in a solicitor. Everyone needs a Jayshree Nathwani in their lives.” Claire Hurrell was also praised by clients, who described her as “committed and very compassionate.”

Our personal injury team also retained their Band 2 ranking, with the team noted as “extremely professional and informative throughout”. Samantha Castle, Myfanwy Buckeridge and Adrian Stone were commended for their work supporting clients involved in road traffic and cycling accidents.

The family team retained their recognised practitioner status for the second year running, for their work in divorce proceedings and financial separations.
