Caroline Featherby
Caroline qualified as a Solicitor in September 2014 and specialises in acting as a Court of Protection Deputy for property and finances. She joined Barcan and Kirby in July 2025.
Caroline acts as a financial Deputy and Trustee for a number of clients with acquired brain injuries and supports the management of the Court of Protection team located at our Gloucester Road office. She specialises in supporting clients and families both during and post-litigation, working closely with the Litigation teams while building strong and trusting relationships with both the clients and their families.
Caroline sits on the Committee of the Professional Deputies Forum and is a member of ACTAPS.
Qualifications
- Committee Member for the Professional Deputies Forum
- Diploma in Financial Planning (RO1) from the Chartered Insurance Institute
- ACTAPS Education Course
- Legal Practice Course from the College of Law
- Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of the West of England
Hourly rate
- £300 plus VAT for private work
- £288 plus VAT for Court of Protection work
