Caroline Featherby
Caroline qualified as a Solicitor in September 2014 and specialises in acting as a Court of Protection Deputy for property and finances. She joined Barcan and Kirby in July 2025 and heads up our Court of Protection department.
Caroline acts as a financial Deputy and Trustee for a number of clients with acquired brain injuries. She specialises in supporting clients and families both during and post-litigation, working closely with the Litigation teams while building strong and trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Financial Planning (RO1) from the Chartered Insurance Institute
- ACTAPS Education Course
- Legal Practice Course from the College of Law
- Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of the West of England
Hourly rate
- £300 plus VAT for private work
- £295 plus VAT for Court of Protection work
