Top tier Chambers ranking for Clinical Negligence team
We’re delighted to announce that our medical negligence and personal injury teams have been recognised by Chambers and Partners UK in their 2016 guide to the UK’s legal profession.
We’ve successfully retained our band 1 ranking for clinical negligence and are the only firm in Bristol to receive the highest band 1 ranking for our medical negligence expertise.
We’ve also retained our Band 3 ranking for personal injury in Bristol and the surrounding area.
Chambers makes note of our ability to “think outside the box and work with extra care” on our clients’ needs. We also receive praise for our “empathy and sympathy for the claimant”.
Three members of our clinical negligence team have been identified as ‘notable practitioners’.
Richard Barcan is described as “a truly excellent lawyer” and is referred to a “forefather of the clinical negligence sector”.
Richard Harries, Partner, is identified as a specialist in catastrophic brain injury claims. The guide describes him as “top-draw and one of the absolute clinical negligence specialists who is confident and competent in what he is doing.”
Jayshree Nathwani is described as “careful, patient and caring”, with the guide making note of her expertise in amputation and brain injury cases.
In our personal injury team, Myfanwy Buckeridge is recognised for her expertise. Clients particularly praised her communication, with one commenting that “they work together efficiently, keeping us updated as necessary”.
