Barcan+Kirby supports Injury Prevention Day

  • Posted

On 21st August, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) is supporting and promoting Injury Prevention Day, which aims to raise awareness of how the general public can prevent injury.

This year, the focus is on safe driving and APIL have encouraged people to share their driving tips to help drivers to steer clear of injury on our roads.

At Barcan+Kirby, we’re proud to have supported Road Safety Week four years running (2015 to 2018), bringing together local schools and communities to highlight the importance of safe driving. But our support doesn’t stop there. Unfortunately, accidents do happen and in 2018, there were 25,484 serious injuries from road traffic accidents reported to the police in the UK.

Our personal injury solicitors act for clients throughout the UK on a wide range of personal injury compensation claims. Our expertise is broad and includes car, motorbike and cycling accidents, as well as workplace accidents and more complex cases involving amputations, traumatic brain damage and fatal injuries.

For victims of personal injury, it’s important to us that recovery and future quality of life are assured. Regardless of the severity of the injury, we can involve a specialist from the start of the claim to get the support, treatment and rehabilitation needed to make the fullest possible recovery.

Our specialist team are also members of the Spinal Injuries Association and Headway’s Personal Injury Solicitors list.
