Barcan+Kirby ranked top in Legal 500 guide
The rankings, released on 30th September, include a top tier ranking for our clinical negligence work, and a tier 3 ranking for personal injury.
Clinical negligence Senior Associate, Helen Franklin, was also listed as a ‘Rising Star’ in recognition of her expertise in amputation and compartment syndrome claims, as well as claims involving delay in diagnosing and treating cancer. One glowing review for Helen said, “Helen Franklin is super smart and has absolute dedication to a case. To be honest, I’m not sure solicitors get any better. The kind of solicitor you would want if your mum got injured.”
One testimonial for our family team said, “They are knowledgeable and compassionate. They are inclusive and provide a consistent level of service to those of modest and not-so-modest means. I think they are all very approachable and provide competent reassurance to clients in times of need.”
Managing Partner Bill Willcocks commented: “After a tough few months as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, which really tested our resilience both as a firm and as individual lawyers, I am delighted with these rankings. They are a testament to our commitment to providing excellent client care and high quality advice, and I am so proud of those solicitors who have been recognised for their hard work.
It’s fantastic to see that we have maintained such high rankings for clinical negligence, personal injury and family law. Our reputation, locally and nationally, is reaffirmed through these Legal 500 rankings. I am proud of everyone involved and how they continue to help people who are often going through difficult periods in their lives.”
