Clinical Negligence team celebrates 2015 Chambers ranking
Our medical negligence team has again been placed in the highest banding in the annual Chambers and Partners UK Directory for the South West Region.
The team headed up by Richard Harries, provides clinical negligence claims advice to clients throughout the South West and indeed the UK and has an established reputation for providing the best level of client care alongside expert legal advice.
Three members of the team were also recognised as Leaders in their Field – Richard Harries, Richard Barcan and Jay Nathwani. All three are delighted with their well-deserved, special recognition.
Our Personal Injury team was also ranked within the region and continues to offer clients a range of personal injury advice and support, with particular expertise for people who have suffered spinal or head injuries.
Richard Harries, Partner said; “I asked members of the team recently why they come to work every day. The common theme was getting justice for our clients and making a positive difference in their lives following life-changing events”.
“Obviously we are delighted to have retained our position in the top flight of clinical negligence lawyers in the South West. In a way, the top ranking comes second to what the team is all about but obviously it is in recognition of the superb team of lawyers we have, all of whom really do go the extra mile, offering the best legal advice and client care through what can be a really difficult time”.
“It has been a particularly good year for the Personal and Medical Injuries team. All of our specialist Personal Injury lawyers have Law Society accreditation for their niche fields and we also now have 6 lawyers accredited by the Law Society in Clinical Negligence. In a team of 12 lawyers, to have 9 lawyers recognised for their expertise is a huge accolade”.
This year the Firm has welcomed Louise Austin and Helen Franklin to the team and Katherine Moyse won Bristol Law Society’s Junior Lawyer of the Year award.
