Gemma Geoghegan
Gemma has been in the compliance field since 2011, following a change of career from being a property solicitor.
Her overall responsibility is ensuring that Barcan+Kirby maintains compliance with Lexcel. Gemma delivers training to all staff on key risk areas, monitors the business of the firm for compliance and keeps the firm’s policies and procedures updated with any key changes to law and regulation.
Gemma enjoys the broad spectrum of work that compliance provides and the interesting challenges it poses. She has a particular interest in anti-money laundering, due diligence and protecting the firm from risk.
Gemma complements her legal experience with a demonstrated background of financial compliance, holding a number of qualifications in investments, protection and ethics.
