Jay Nathwani joins Clinical Negligence team

We’re pleased to announce that Jayshree Nathwani has joined the firm in the role of Associate. Jay joins the Medical Negligence team from Exeter-based Parlett Kent, where she was appointed as Partner in 2005.

As a medical negligence specialist, Jay has a wealth of experience across a range of injury types, with particular expertise in complex brain injury claims. She has managed cases involving ophthalmology, still births and amputation.

Jay is highly recommended in Chambers 2013 where they refer to her low key and efficacious approach. She received praise for “keeping her clients involved in the case and managing the case very well.” 

It was also commented that “Litigation in this area is very stressful; I think she is very sensitive and can handle this well.”

Jayshree is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Specialist Panel, the AvMA panel and of APIL (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers). She has also been appointed by the Court of Protection and can act as a professional deputy for clients who lack capacity.

She will be based in our central Bristol office; however, she’ll be acting for clients based throughout the UK.
